lonewolf5347
whisker biscuit I was wondering how are these, seem no need for a arrow holder but was wondering if they add drag to the arrow shaft I tried the drop away rest but really don't care for them any info on the above rest good or bad? One question I forgot can you shoot a bare shaft out of it to tune the bow?
Cutter
They do slow the arrows down. I used the biscuit since they first came out until this year. Now Im using the hostage. Same stability but no feather wear and abit faster.
MichiganHunter
Hey they are great, You'll get lots of dont use them comments but i have shot fixed rists, drop away's and this whisker biscuit, my pattern with the wisker biscuit is just a good as whit my fixed rest, They slow down the arrow from about 2 to 4 fps, the only thing i would recommend is to make sure that you use an arrow with a stright blazer vanes, but i love my biscuit great if u ever do any stalking. Guest grunt0331
I got one this year and I really like it. I have heard of some folks having problems with their fletchings, but I have shot the snot out of mine and have had zero problems.
Rem308
I have the whisker biscuit and have used it for the last few seasons. I really like it, it may slow the arrow down a touch (I've heard others claim that it does) but I don't mind...it's worth it for the hold of the arrow. Bowtech_archer07
I love a whisker biscuit. You never have to worry about your arrow falling off of the rest again. I have not seen it slowing down my arrow at all and I will never go back to a fixed or a drop away rest.
VermontHunter
I've shot this rest for the past 3 years with NO problems what so ever... I'll even go as far to say I'd shoot against any rest out there, and be just as accurate.. You might want to jump on this deal ... Switchback29A1
I'm all about the WB. got one on my mathews...id deffiently suggest putting one on there.
LifeNRA
Wont shoot any other rest!
Brad6639
I have used a wb since it came out, and I have shot several deer with it. I found the original to be hard on fletchings, but very accurate and I was satisfied overall. The new drop tine is easier on fletchings and very accurate. I wont ever be using another rest...unless wb comes out with something even better. (and even if it does slow the arrow down, speed is not everything, and Id much rather have a few feet per second loss then a rest that squaks or makes noise when you release like some of the drop aways do). unioncountyslayer
stick some blazers on your arrows and you'll love the wisker. It won't slow your arrow, that's rediculous!
preacherman
I watched probably one of the best archers in our area shoot the other day...............and upon further looking at his bow..............he shoots the buscuit. Loves it! You will love it as well.
Guest wildotter
I used the biscuit for two years and had no problems with it. I shot feathers out of it, and they wore a bit...but not too bad. Using the Ripcord this year and LOVE IT! The biscuit is great for hunting. If you don't like the drop-away rests, I would recommend it as an alternative for sure.
Hardwood_HD
my dad uses one and hasnt had any trouble yet.. only thing i would be afraid of is if the bristles would happen to get wet and then freeze on a cold day somehow.. i think this would cause some major problems

Huntin4ever
I've used the whisker biscuit for two years.....I've chronographed the bow with it on and with a fixed rest......about 5 fps slower....I could care less about that..... I've also shot standard 4 inch vanes and blazers through it and see no difference between the two...... In my opinion it's one of the best if not the best HUNTING rest out there. wildthing
I have a whisker biscuit and love it. I have used mine for last 3 years...hunting and practice shooting, and it has held up fine...I can turn the bow every which way, and the arrow never moves. I haven't had any real issues with the biscuit messing up my fletching..but I used plastics not feather too. There is a spray on the market that help with brissle waterproofing...but honestly I hunt in SW PA and Ohio and haven't had a problem...and I have hunted fair weather, wet and rainy, and snow... If it slows the arrow speed at all...I would say it is very minimal... I have laid the smackdown on deer at 5, 10, 20, 30+ yards too... Texan_Til_I_Die
I use one and like it. I shoot arrows with the "Buff Tuff" finish, and they'll make a little bit of noise pulling back through the biscuit. I get around it by spraying the biscuit and my arrow shafts down with an odorless silicone lubricant called Reel Magic.
bbarnhart20
Never did care for it! Had a buddy use it and didn't like it. Really no reason that I don't like it just don't see why you would need one.
buckbuster11
I've been shooting mine for 5 or 6 years now I believe. I like it. I shot feathers for all of those years and they do tend to wear down after a couple of years but, it was nothing serious. This year I switched to Quick Spin's and I have had no problems. Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
When I first seen them I was a bit skeptical, with all the drop aways out there I figured, why would you choose one with fletching contact, over zero contact? Now, after seeing them and shooting a friends bow with one on, I think they are one of the best rests out there. I don't do any stalking type hunting, so the full containment is not really something I need. But if someone were to ask me what type of rest they should put on their bow, this would be toward the top of the list. What contact you do get doesn't interfere with flight, and any loss of speed isn't noticeable. Great rest IMO
Mach1
This is the first year I'll be using a WB hunting. So far I've loved it for my practice shooting. I shoot Blazer vanes through mine and have noticed no wear on them at all.
