Guest COACH J.
I tex alot!!!!!!!!!!I also play football and stuff on my psp! Its also a good time to pray or read.. I pay attention to my hunt and I take lots of deer but when you hunt as much as I do you gota kill time somehow because looking at squrrils gets old. Im selfemployed so I can get home early enough to hunt every afternoon if I want to and I usually do during bow season. I have shot a deer while I was looking over a play book I also listen to UT games on a portable radio if Im in the stand during one.
mule659
I usually just kick back and enjoy being out. If I have other buddies out hunting we will text each other to see how things are going in our different areas.

Tom2008
Same as tony here. I re-think different yardages and esitmate possible shots. I visualize what would happen if a deer came from a certain trail. Sometimes I think about a big buck coming right down a trail with 20 yards of my stand. I watch the animals and listen to the sounds of nature. Sometimes I like to try and match the sound with an animal. One night I heard and seen gray squirrels, red squirrels, rabbit, owl, grouse, morning doves, and a few other birds that I didn't know of. My all time favorite bird to watch is a chickadee though. They come so close and they usually land on branches around me or the tip of my arrow. I love nature and everything that it holds amazes me. I didn't see one deer last weekend, but I still spent 14 1/2 hours in the woods enjoying what nature has to offer. Another thing I like about nature is you never know what you might see. The mystery of it is great and thats why I look forward to every day spent in the woods. I know I dragged on for awhile, but that is what keeps me entertained while I'm hunting.
