Guest SRA
This is what i've been doing the last while. My brother-in-laws farm around 1200 acres and i've been helping them this fall. I haul the corn/soybeans from the field to the trucks. Haven't run into anything yet.....

wildside
Oh, my son will go nuts when I show him your photos! He constantly plays with his diecast metal John Deere tractors with assorted attachments. It's serious business! In fact, we have a "field" of candy corn pumpkins surrounded by tractors and such on our family room carpet right now. Cool stuff there, Scott! Grant-KS
That's good stuff! I would still get a kick out of going on a custom cutting crew some summer. There's just something that men can't resist about 42' draper headers on a JD 9750 and a 9000 series 8 wheel drive with a 1000-1200 bushel grain cart with huge duals. wtnhunt
That is cool Scott. Most the fields around here have been harvested. What few had not been yet, will have to wait for everything to dry out after all the rain we have had the past 3 days.
Turkeygirl
Very cool! I seriously would love to to do that...drive a tractor around during harvest season...don't know why but I love big machinery and although it's not like I grew up on a big farm..I have something about farming in me!
