bbarnhart20
Does anyone have a certain CD that they listen to on their way hunting everytime. Mine gets started as soon as I hit the seat of my blazer on the way to every hunt. On mine is: some hank! a little david allen coe, some songs that seem to pop into my head while in the stand every year, a little nugent, and a few songs that have to do with hunting. Just curious if i'm the only person that does this! haha
Guest adrenaline_junky
There ain't nothin better than listening to some hank or some motor city madman on the way to my honey hole. Country Boy Can Survive is a hunters theme song.
The Kid
ted nugent definatly, i also started a new tradition by watching escanaba and the moonlight on the eve of bowseason..it gets me in the mode!!
Guest doublelung45
Wack master Uncle Ted always gets me and my crew in the mood to wack'em and stack'em. Fred Bear is on of my all time favs. I'm a rocker but on the way to the stand my dial usually ends up on a country station and like it or not when it is gun season in Wisconsin there is always "the 30pt buck" and "2nd week of deer camp." Are those song popular in other states or just around here?

Dawg
I usually listen to whatever is on the radio at the time. What gets me pumped is watching the ole' thwack master himself, Mr. Waddell, right before I go to sleep the night before and when I wake up. They've worn out the 30 point buck song down here! mule659
I'm a big fan of great day to be alive by travis tritt...that song just makes me happy lol
kingfisherfd2
I never have my country station tuned in on my radio until I get to hunting season. If I'm listening to music I know before I head to the tree stand, I will have one or two lines from the last song I heard running through my head all day. I don't know country music, so I don't get it stuck in my head.
Tominator
I typically have to listen to Ohiobucks tell me where I'm hunting that particular day because he always gets first pick of stands.
Guest antlerhead
i usually listen to country songs, but i like eminems song "lose yourself" one of the lines in the song is "you only get one shot" and thats usually true when it comes to bowhunting. im sure eminem is no bowhunter though. ha ha but this song pumps me up and reminds me not to blow it when a shot finally happens. ThethirdI
I love country music but I listen to new rock. I have a 3 Days Grace and a Staind CD that I always play. I just got a used truck and it doesn't have a CD player in it yet so this will be the first opening day I will not have my CD's playing. It will seem a little odd I'm sure. I can't wait until tomorrow morning. The suspense is killing me. My wife just keeps telling me to calm down. "It's not like it's your first opening day or something!" is what she says. That's what she thinks! LOL
