ky_deerhunter_77
I have the 7mm in a 110 savage and it shoot fine. Don't leason to ant one talk about the recoil. You will love the R3 pad, it makes shooting my 300 RUM like a 30-06. What is the sub-model (bdl, cdl, ...) ?

FSU_Seminole
well guys i just bought a new remington 700 in 7mm rem mag. i think this makes gun #10 in less than 1.5 years. is that bad guys? by the way i cant wait to shoot it. and any of you others that shoot this round what are your thoughts on it. thanxs Nope!!! If you got the money & can afford them buy them. I just bought a 280. Did I need the gun? No, I just wanted it because of the calibur's reputation & looks of the rifle. I'm going to buy a turkey gun in Jan or Feb, probably an Xetrema2. Then I'm going to start looking for a 300wsm.
tped
You might be nuts but so what - if you want it and can afford it why not? I try to hold myself to 2 per year but that is just me - I won't pass a good deal for the quota though. Now to the Remington 700 in 7 mag - great choice. My first ended up being my biggest mistake ever - I had a 700 action that a local guy cusotm bedded in a Bell & Carlson stock and I had a 3X9 leupold on it. That guy would shoot 1" @ 200 yards constantly -in an insane moment - I sold it. Biggest gun regret I have had. I currently have my 700 7 mag in the KS mountain rifle and it is probably the best shooting gun I have - I love 7mm bullets and probably own a gun in almost every 7mm chambering. Always great accuracy and results. If buying factory ammo try the Federal Fusion 150 grain in the 7 mag. Mine loves them
Adjam5
Great round the 7mm Mag, and there is NOTHING wrong with being a gun accumulator
Guest JNOS
just got my 7mm rem mag the other day, and shot it for the first time today. wow, i absolutely love it. previously had a 22-250, and had no trouble putting deer down with one shot, but have always wanted a 7 mag, and want to get into elk hunting as well. honestly don't notice much difference at all between the 2 in terms of recoil. what factory loads would you guys recommend for hunting big Manitoba (Canada) whitetails? Thanks.
RJJ
congrats on the new gun. I just bought the remington 700 25-06 CDL and I love it. Hope you welcome it to the family right this deer season.
