Ok Steve we will see if the wings can make it this year.....I really don't think so but we will see.

In the past if they make it past the first round we have a very very good chance of taking it all ... they have showed absolutely no signs of weekness and they are playing as a complete team.

I hope they get it done this year should make for a great series at least.

Steve

I am feeling ill Luke :o:o:o:o

End of the second period --------- Flyers 4 Habs 3 :(

The Habs were up 3-1 and then they allowed that BS goal and it changed the game :(, I don't understand how a guy can put his glove up, direct the puck in the net and the goal be allowed :mad::mad::mad:BS BS BS BS :mad::mad::mad:

yeah but Lewis if you watch the slow moe replay he missed it with his glove and it hit his shoulder...there for the goal is ok....sorry bud....but really the Habs should not have won that anyway.....they just seemed to run out of steam in this round.

ummmmmmmmm, the Wings have 11 Canadians, 8 Sweds, 1 Russian , 1 Fin, 2 Cze, 1 Svk and 3 USA players on the team.

Price was horrendous in net.....hard to believe what happened to that guy over the course of the last few games.

With that said, Pittsburgh and Philly in the conference finals is going to be one heck of a series.:cool:

I agree, the Habs played a great game ( I think they played better than the Flyers :rolleyes: ), Price made some good stops, but under pressure he seemed to get the "deer in the headlight look" and lost it :o He is only 20 years old and he has had lots of pressure put upon his shoulders by the media, so I'll forgive him.

It is easy to make excuses, but alot of those shots should not have made it in the net :o, it would have made a very different series.

Congrats to the Flyers :cool::cool:

Luke, you can change your avatar now if you like ;)

that was unlucky :o, Ranger player kicked the puck right onto Hossa's stick for the winning goal :eek:

Yeah, the Pens got a couple of breaks in that one. But there is no doubt the best team won this series. The big guns from the Rangers....Jagr, Drury, Gomez, and Shanahan.....among others....got completely outplayed by the Pens big guns. If it wasn't for Lundquist all these games would have been blow outs by the Pens. :cool:
