This one's over...Pens are getting outworked. I've never seen a team win so many races to the puck so consistently in the 3rd period of a Cup final.:o I think can they win this next game if they show a little more heart, but I doubt it.

I was really disappointed in the effort or lack thereof in game 4.

Congrats to the Wings (except for Chris Draper whose malicious cheap shot to reinjure Sergei Gonchar in the 1st period demonstrated what a classless individual he is ) on winning the Cup.

The better team won. I hope that the Pens can take a few lessons out of this series and improve their game this fall.

LOL thats pretty strong claim... but I guess there is always this kind of disclaimer when your team looses ... always a but or what if ... or some other excuse cant just say it outright.

Thats ok the right team did win just took one longer then I thought and I kinda like it better anyhow ... they win it and celebrate on away ice ... just solidifies everything to me.

Nope. The claim is spot-on.

No excuses here. Just calling a spade a spade. I'm all for knocking a guy off the puck. I'm all for finishing your checks. That's good solid hockey.

But when a guy intentionally two-hand slams a guy's head from behind.....a guy who sustained a head injury in the previous game..........when a solid, hard hip check would have done, is as low and classless as an individual can get.

Ok you know Detroits destinned to win when you get the opposing goalie to crap out pucks into the net ROFL ... if you are wondering what I am talking about watch Sports Center for the next week it will be replayed many many times lol.

Steve

It's a good thing for that lucky goal, or I think it would have been game 7 for sure

Besides that, I think the Ref was pretty slow on the whistle on that one, I don't think it should have been a goal.

I assume your talking about the one when Fleury fell on his back and the puck went in. The play was dead, there was no whistle, cheap goal and shame on the Ref's :rolleyes::rolleyes:

how about a the couple cheap shots to franzens head earlier in the series right when he was coming back from a concussion? Pens were just as dirty as the wings were

Congrats to the Wings!!

No no no you got it all wrong ... see if the penns got some lucky bounces then they would have won and if the penns rough someone up that just solid hockey ... the red wings get no lucky bounces or missed opportuinities and Detroit intentionally aims at player ... you know cause they have such a long history of it ... oh btw you must not have watched the whole series where they said that detroit doesn't play that hockey and hastn all year ...

And if they guy wouldnt have fallen into the board 2 nightsd before ... it wouldnt have been up for debate and it would have been no big deal ... he literatlely tripped on the ice in front of his own net not a single redwing by him ... period

No freaking way man ... your crazy :p:D... he had absolutely no control of that puck no redwings in the creese he (ref) could see it clear as day ... when he sat down that puck was 1 foot behind him you need to watch that again ... the only thing is ... yes it was lucky.
