I havent made one post .... NOT ONE about the Wings this year cause they aren't anything special ... until they decide on a real goalie I would say they aren't worth talking about ... I mean for crying out loud they lost to Chicago of all teams ... what is there really to talk about ... especially this early in the season lol ...

And besides you know why I posted that lol your an easy target :p... quit gettin so defensive with me all the sudden ROFL:D ... You at least know your Bruins stink lol :D ...

Steve

BTW how are them Bills doing this year? and the Yankees lol ... really about the only thing you have going for you is Team Hendrick ...:D:p

The Blues beat the Ducks last night 4-2.Another game not televised. Why in the world they would put poker on Fox Sports instead of hockey I have no clue.Looks like I'm going to the game Saturday when they take on the Caps.Should be a good time.

I did watch the Pens-Rangers game.I can't believe with all the talent between these teams that only one goal was scored.Sounds like the Rangers are off to a pretty slow start.

I guees our local boy D.J King spanked Parros pretty badly too.

Yea,I just seen the replay on hockey central the other night.Looked like D.J. handled him pretty good. The Blues have needed someone like D.J. on the team for the last few years. His fight numbers since he's been a Blue have to be in the double digits and I have yet to see him loose, even though most of the guys he scraps with are bigger than him.

The CBJ Demolished The Blues Tonight. 3-0. That makes four shutouts for leclaire this season. Nash Added another tally.

Yea, I seen some of the game.Too many turnovers by the Notes.Leclaire looks great in net for the BJ's.

The Blues are 5-3 on the season.I'm going to the game saturday against the Caps and can't wait!

Bergeron

BOSTON (AP) -Bruins center Patrice Bergeron was taken from the ice on a stretcher Saturday against Philadelphia after losing consciousness when he was hit from behind by Flyers defenseman Randy Jones.

Bergeron was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he was being treated by Bruins team physician Dr. Bertram Zarins.

Medical personnel cut away Bergeron's jersey and shoulder pads as they worked on him, placing his neck in a brace. They placed him on a board and then onto a stretcher, his legs taped together and his arms folded across his chest. There was little sign of movement. The game was delayed some 15 minutes with 3:53 left in the first period.

Jones drew a 5-minute major for boarding and a game misconduct.

Bergeron and Jones were chasing a loose puck when Bergeron took the hit in the back and hit the glass face-first. He went down on the ice on his back and lay virtually motionless as Jones continued pursuing the puck.

Jones:

"Words really can't express the way that I feel right now. I am very apologetic for the hit and what I did," Jones said in a statement released by the team. "It was not intentional. It is something that I have never done before and it is not part of my character. I am extremely sorry.

I hope he does OK and everything works out for him. I wish him nothing but the best in his recovery."
