Well yesterday we went up around Sugar Creek, Berlin, Wallnut Creek, and a few other places. Had a great time. The weather was great for being out and about not real hot and wasn't cold. We were up there for about 10 hours yesterday. Those girls drug me and my dad around all day to all these differenet shops and places. Found alot of cool stuff and bought a few things.

Must say tho I got my revenge when we went to a bow shop for all those hours spent in those other stores.:D Also run to Leeman's Hardware man that place is awesome we always go there when we go up there.

We ate lunch at the DerDutchmen. The food was amazing.

I went in this Western Ware place. What a mistake that was. Didn't see on the sign that they also sell dogs. Katy begged and begged for me to get her a dog. She wanted some little pug or something. I told her on if I'm getting a dog we are getting my bassethound(sp?):D Only took me 30 minutes to get her out of there.:D

In Sugar Creek they were having a Fesitival pretty cool. They had a Parade, Yodling contest, and a few other things going on all day.

Hiene's Cheese we went there oh my gosh I tried every cheese in that place. I love going there. Brought home about 30 dollars worth of cheese.:D Tried a few and I tell they made my stomach turn upside down.:( were nasty sick.

Ok I'm done rambling about the day. I will try to get a few pics posted up here later today before I have to go to work.

Cool! Been there, done that. Still use a pair of haircutting scissors we picked up at Lehman's hardware. Still razor sharp. We also went to that cheese factory while we were there...lots and lots of cheese! Mom taught in a li'l amish/mennonite school in that area for several years before she was married, and a couple of her fellow teachers got a reunion together. There are plenty of Amish around here(mom and her family used to be too), but nothing like there is up there. The thing that got me every time was the baling rigs. A pair of draft horses pulling a cart with a diesel engine and PTO mounted on it with a New Holland small square baler behind it.

That is cool! We always enjoyed going to the Amish communities!

Hunt around them and you willn't enjoy them so much. I know a lot of amish cause i live in amish country, man talk about no respect for other people's property. Well anyhow sounds like you had a fun day.
