arrow32
Ok guys October 13th is the opening day of bow season for us this year and dad is going over to the other side of the state to do some trout fishing. He talked to a guy he works with and found a few places that have enough water to through some flies. But I have the problem of what to do. He said him and a couple other guys are going up and I can go if I want. I love trout fishing but come on its bow season!! To hard of a choice for a guy to have to make. What would you do? Turkeygirl
I personally would go hunting....actually I will be because that is when our season opens up. If the weather is kinda warm..go fishing...of the weatheri s cool and good for deer movement, go hunting.
luvtohnt
Try and do both if you can. If it were me, I probably would pick fishing with my dad. He's going to be 81 on October 3rd. He taught me my love of the outdoors and I know we can't have those times forever.

Then again Arrow if your father has many years left, its a touch choice! Maybe you can still hunt out there, just split the day! Hunt the morning, and fish the afternoon, or vice-versa! Good luck! The Kid
the only thing better than bowhunting is being out in the woods with your dad in my eyes, go with him and make some memories. i'm sure he would enjoy it if you went too

JimT
This is easy. Fishing season is much longer than hunting season. Go hunting!!
