MUDRUNNER
Went up to the farm to pull my cameras and check my plot and was pleasantly surprised when I came up on my plot. The ground was hard, dry, and cracked from the drought, but my plot is nice and green so far and about 7" tall.I'm really impressed with the Maxi Rack seeds so far.I would have loved to see how it would've done with some decent rains. Wether the deer eat it or not it sure looks good.:DThere are some nibbles on it,but I'm hoping they hold off for another few weeks before they tear it up. Thanks to everyone on here that helped me out and point me in the right direction.Anytime I had a question you guys gave me an answer. All the helpfull people are what makes this place so great. dogdoc
nice and green. Hope that they don't eat it now--you want it going strong during season and later winter.

Sam16
Hey awesome looking plot bud. Hope my maxi-rack looks half that good. Last i saw though, they havent started browsing on the brassicas yet, but just wait till thats the only green forage in the area, especially after a frost. Hope it works out for ya.. MUDRUNNER
good looking plot man. did u fertilize and lime also? Yep...I didn't do a soil test this year, but I put down 300 lbs. of lime and 150 lbs. of 13-13-13 fertilizer about a month before I planted.I got quite a few pics of does and fawns, but buck movement is real slow. It's still real warm, but it looks like the weather might break this weekend.
