Guest gunny97
i hunt a pretty flat land but it is a little swampy in places in south carolina. i want a golf cart because it is silent . my question is do any of you have a Bad Boy and what your thoughts are . we see them on shows all the time but i want to hear from hunters what they have experienced and if it is worth paying the price for the buggy. my area has a lot of deer and hogs and slow moving a silent would put a lot of food in the freezer
98chevy
Heer is my thoughts. Inless you just have alot of mud then a ezgo or clubcart will do the same for half the price. We have some badboys and ezgos at our place. They all do about the same on normal land, just the buggies look better doing it. Now saying there Ill list pros and cons in my opion. Buggie pros-They look awsome They paform awsome They come in 4x4 Most important they are geared correctly for oversized tires Cons-price $8,500.00-$10,000.00 There having problems with the trans but have fixed the problem and recalled the ones they messed up (So not really a con) If they break do you have a shop that can work on it?? I do not. Standerd golfcart- pros You can build one for around $4,500.00 Easy to find parts Easy to acceries Tends to be cheaper to maintain Cons Not geared correctly for 22" tires Not 4x4 I had a club cart for years and it supriced the mess out me on what it would climb and go though. And if you lift one run the smallest tire you can with out bottoming out every 100 yards. This way your gearing want be to off and you want wear the batterys down. I jsut purchased a rhino for work and play. Now this week im shooping for a 36 volt golf cart for what I like to call doe mangment.
wtnhunt
Welcome to the forums. Been a few reviews on them here over the last year or so. Think if it were me and I was spending that much, I would probably opt for something like kubota's utv.
Guest coydog316
My brothers and I have been customizing golf carts for over a year now and I have personally used my 2001 Club Car for the last two years. Besides the fact that BBB's are 4x4, the cost is what scares a lot of people. We have built one that an outfitter here in our area that is interested. We call it our Big Buckin' Buggy. We put a low torque motor and a 400 amp speed controller, well we have this hill in behind our houses and it will easily climb anything you throw at it! We ask $5000!
