NiteRunner
Around the edge of our cornfield I noticed a buck has just pawed the heck out of the ground making scrapes already. He's got some along the field and in the woods now too, looks like he's been at it for a couple weeks, whacking all the overhead branches and stuff pretty hard. Big track on him. Anyone else seeing scrapes? I thought it was a little early for them to be making them, I've seen more scrapes than rubs actually.
arrow32
Saw one or two up in Ohio yesterday. Haven't saw any down home here yet. But dang I can't wait to start hunting.
rhine16
Yes, I've seen three. All in the same area, so i imagine it's the same buck. They were made about two weeks ago. I've never seen one at this point in the year. They usually keep em going until March and start em mid to late October.
dbHunterNY
I've seen them I've seen some as early as late September. I've seen more bucks make rubs than scrapes. I think that's just a coincidence. - Dan

Tominator
Yep. Saw 3 or 4 in Knox county on Sunday. 2 were border scrapes, but one was inside the woods, so I don't know about that one.
