Guest grunt0331
Good on you. They deserve everything coming to them, but with folks as crazy as they are, I don't know if I'd do the same.

Turkeygirl
Good for you, but be careful! Stopping poachers like that...they could have just pulled a gun on you if they don't want to be caught...or they could have just rammed right into you. Glad you caught them though
JDAWG
Good Job! Hopefully this will deter other potential poachers in your area when they find out "real" hunters are out there and stepping up to the plate......GO BOSOX!!!! mjbmxz
10 yrs ago when hauling manure, I saw 2 guys run down the field as I was spreading. Once I got closer I notcied each guy had a rifle. So I turn around, go home and my father called theh local law enforcement. They arrived 15 minutes later, and the 2 idiots were still there. Apparently me seeing them wasn't enough to scare them off. Anyways, they were 2 guy sfrom Florida shot a large 9 pt., cut the head off, and put the body under a piece of old tin. They were sent to jail . What shame. I hope they found big smelly boyfriends in prison.

muzzy916
well i think it was ted nuget that said hunting is the last thing that is perfect now days but here recently i have to disagree. if people cant do it ethicaly and legally hunting isnt perfect anymore, untill people can do it right and give the animals a chance, tell me how its perfect. but thanks to everyone for the coments and hunt safe and good luck
Stinger-Hunter
That was the worst story I ever heard. How about a follow-up? What did the police say?

Hoosierbuck
I heard this story about a crusty old farmer that caught a guy trespassing and disarmed him, then started asking all these questions about where's your vehicle and who knows you are here, etc. Whent he guy said that no one knew where he was and that he had never brought anyone else out to these woods, the farmer nodded and said, "Well, then, they'll probably never find you, will they??" He let the guy mull that over for a little while, and let him go, minus his gun. I bet the poacher was at the very least more cautious after that... mmbernskoetter
Good job, I don't know why people want to take the sport out of hunting. It is a lazy world out there.
