JamesVee
Re: Stealth cam, freezes up again? your batteries may be low, or the camera was cold. I had my camera flashing at nine pictures the other night, so I took it into my truck, warmed it up then put it back out. Checked it the next morning, it had taken some pics but was blinking again. The other camera was working because I had just charged those batteries. Keep in mind it was -10 here the last three nights, and daytime temps were no more than 30. Make sure you have good batteries. snapper
Re: Stealth cam, freezes up again? When you say "flashing"...do you mean the low battery light? or the #of pics it has taken? Mine seems to get stuck on 13. Last roll got stuck at 13 and wouldn't rewind the film. Ended up taking it out and winding it in by hand...didn't get anything due to exposure. Now this roll was on 12 and set-up on a scrape...checked it after a few days...nothing, the scrape wasn't clean either...so I didn't give it much thought. Went back two days later and as I was walking up... I could see the scrape was clean and made bigger. I was excited til I opened the camera and turned it to test and looked at the front only to see 12 pics. flashing on the front!!!!!
Guest Split_brow_tines
Re: Stealth cam, freezes up again? I've had this happen too. My camera only use to take about 12 pics before it would jam and have problems rewinding. i took that stupid plastic piece out like some others had said they did, and i haven't had any problems. Recently i've encountered that flashing number on the display. I tried to rewind the film, and it sounded like it was having a hard time rewinding, and when i opened the back of the camera, my film wasn't rewound, so quick closed the back. I then proceeded to change the batteries and try again. It worked fine then, developed that roll and had 15 pics from a 24 pic roll, had 27 on the counter though. Can only imagine what the pics were of that i exposed . I don't know why, but i've never had the low battery light flash or even come on, whats up with that?
