arrow32
I think it would be a blast to go on the hunts and meet the people all the time. But to me it would get old having people flock to me at convintions(sp?) and other places. Would miss the family alot as well not srue I could stay gone all the time. Guest realtrhunter
I would like to go on all the hunts, but I wouldn't want all the attention that he gets at shows and just around town. My hat goes off to the guy for being able to balance it all. I would be more like Chuck Adams and just write about the hunts instead. I definatly would not like the time away from family once I have my own. Anyway, best of luck to him and his family.

unioncountyslayer
Poor Michael. Like I always tell my buddies that complain about work, "I didn't choose your job". I know it has to be stressful to be away from his family, but come on, the guy has a great job, let's not trivialize it!

I know it has to be stressful to be away from his family, but come on, the guy has a great job, let's not trivialize it! You are right, you know if he had to be home with the family like most of us are, any local hunting store would love to hire the guy. Image Michael Waddell running a pro shop, people would come from miles away just to have him touch their bows! LOL!! Its HIS choice to do this. He is living a dream but not sure I could be away from my girls for that long. He is very strong for doing something like that but he is also supporting them and giving them a great future financially too, then again you miss out on memories that money just can't buy!! TreeStandBowHunter
I would do it. My family is used to me being gone all the time. I would trade jobs in a heartbeat with him;)! Not to mention, it is much safer:D

God Bless you and we are all very proud of what you do for us here in the United States!!
