Guest bow_hunter101
Anybody shoot a 7mm WSM?
Shaun_300
I've never fired the 7mm WSM, but I do own a .300 WSM. I love the short action mags, they have awesome performance. Here's a couple ballistics from winchester for the 7mm Remington Mag and the 7mm WSM, both are Winchester Supreme Accubond CT loads. 7mm Rem Mag Muzzle Velocity: 2950 fps Muzzle Energy: 3091 ft.lbs. 7mm WSM Muzzle Velocity: 3050 fps Muzzle Energy: 3306 ft. lbs. The WSM cartridges are pretty impressive, plus you don't have to carry the big long bullets, and you have a short action rifle as well. Guest bow_hunter101
I love my 7mm WSM. It is extremely flat shooting and powerful. The big downside is the price of bullets! I pay upward of $40 for a box of 20 shells.
Shaun_300
Yeah shells are quite pricey for the WSM's! I pay anywhere from $29.99 to $36.99 depending on the brand, well worth it though.
Guest bow_hunter101
Have you tried out the Winchester Supreme Elite XP3 or Winchester Supreme Accubond CT bullets? They're expensive but they shoot really good. (They look pretty cool too! lol)
TCFORLIFE
I just posted on the 7mm wsm not to long ago. I have it in a browning a bolt and love it. I'm shooting the winchester supreme 140's. They shoot great.

Guest ronin
Those XP3's in the 150 gr 270 are incredible. If I could buy them as bullets only for reloading I would immediately switch from my favorite Barnes bullets.
