MUDRUNNER
Good luck! It's tough hunting right now.Movement is slow and it's just way too hot.I'm planning on hunting tomorrow morning for a few hours but it's supposed to be around 90 for the high so I'm done hunting afternoons until it cools off a little. Guest totalscaf
good luck! From what i have saw so far they aren't moving til right at dark. I shot a doe last friday but if it would have came in 10 minutes later it would have been to dark to shoot.
Bowtech_archer07
Well, the result. I couldn't hunt the stand I wanted to hunt because the ladder came apart. Have to fix it tomorrow. However, I did hunt a stand that I put up a couple of weeks ago, over a picked corn field. I had two does come out behind me about an hour before dark and bed down. Then about 20 min. before shooting light was over, they got up and started feeding. They began to come towards me, then turned and headed the other way. At least I got see a couple of deer tonight, I didn't expect to see much cause of the heat, but I did, and in the morning I'm hunting a standing bean field where I shot my biggest buck ever, a 138" 10 pt. in 2002, I got him w/ a gun, but this is one heck of spot. Hopefully I will see something nice!!!!!!!!!
