billygoat
Absolutely! I have off from Oct 26 - Nov 12, work 3 days, then am off for another week. work a couple more, then pack the truck and head off to Iowa for a week. It pays to save that vacation!!! Now if I can just find the "right" buck!
Tominator
I wish I could. Principals kind of frown on vacation time during the school year. I do get 3 personal days I can take anytime for any reason.
indianaboy
Sure do. I will be off from Oct 26 to Nov 29!!!! Cant wait!!
ilhnter
Thats what I do. I'm taking 16 days off in the month of November to bow and gun hunt the rut in Illinois. For October I just go on my normal days off. My dad does the same, he takes more time off in November than I do.

Hoyt03
I usually try to keep a week for hunting deer or turkey. I try to spend the other 2 going on trips with the wife and stuff like that. It's not really fair to use all your vaca hunting then never go on trips with the wife. It stinks but it's part of the game.

MUDRUNNER
I usually try and limit myself to using 6 days of vacation a year for hunting. That leaves me a few to use for family stuff and a day or two to burn however I want to.When I use to go to south Dakota pheasant hunting I only worked one full week between Holloween and Christmas. Dogg6
2 of my 3 weeks are kept until November. 1 week for bowhunting and 1 week for gun season.
elnor
My wife and I both hunt, so it's a fairly easy sell to use vacation for turkey and deer hunting. I usually use more during spring turkey season as it's shorter and so I have fewer weekends to get in the woods without using vacation days. bowin_in_illinois
I get three weeks vacation...and I use about half of that for hunting. I take the first week of november off and use a few other days here and there.
c_lou
I try to have as much vacation built up as I can. I take a lot of half days so I don't use it up as fast. More hunting time.

Shaun_300
I haven't yet, I used 6 days in July, then 2 in August. Got 2 days left and they'll be used in rifle season.
