Turkeygirl
Ok, gotta question. I've got NAP thunderhead 100 grain broadheads, of which I need to put on and shoot and be sure they are sighted in. Anyway I've some practice ones, thanks to two guys on RT, and I picked up some brand new ones. The practicie ones are al ittle older, have the smooth ferrules, no UBARS, and the new ones have the micro-grooved ferrules and UBARS for sm. diameter carbon arrowsl ike my Bemans. Anyway will the broadheads shoot any different from each other because of the slight differences...or not really?
OUTSIDER
I have used the older ones and the newer ones. I shot them out of a bowtech stalker 4 or 5 years back. They shot pretty much the same. I have found with broadheads that the better my bow was tuned the better all my broadheads have shot. I have since moved on to montecs....my dad swears by thunderheads, he has taken many many deer and a pope and young black bear with them. Great broadheads, good luck. Guest adrenaline_junky
They should shoot the same, I don't shoot thunderheads but i know my Montec's the practice blades were a lot different from the new Hunting blades. Good Luck.
