I have absolutely NOTHING against Toyota's ,, but to me there's way too many RED FLAGS that pop up here folks .. For one the Toyota's have struggled all year on the speed charts,, never mind even qualifying for a position in the field... but now all of a sudden they are dominate on a super speedway taking 6 of the top 10 positions and the POLE as well, none the less .. :confused: Somethings mighty fishy here IMHO.. Can't touch the COT so it has to be engines. Don't worry though, the Bowtie brigade will motor by. The Toyotas had to work on qualifying set-ups just to make the race and the others were in race trim. Will be interesting, 'Dega usually is! VABuckSlayer Posted October 8, 2007 Report Share Posted October 8, 2007 Guys the only reason they are up there is because they were all in qualifying trim because they had to make the race on time. The top 35 qualified in race trim because it was an inpound race. Most of the cars not qualified in the top 35 are Toyota's so it only makes since most of them would be at the top of the chart. They did say they found a little more power after the Dega test that I'm sure helped. Jeff Gordon didn't have too many problems getting to the front and winning the race. If the others would have done it then it would have been a big difference. FACT: Dale Earnhardt Jr would have won the race if he did not blow up his motor.
