buckbuster11
Whoa...whoa...Johnboy. Hold the phone pal. I was one of the few people here calling the firing of Marty a bad idea...and you and a lot of other members jumped all over me about it. Don't go backpeddling...again man. That's because I assumed they were going to actually hire a real coach...not the worst coach of all time Norv Turner. And I'm serious about that...Norv Turner has been and always will be the worst coach I have ever seen in the NFL.

And I'm serious about that...Norv Turner has been and always will be the worst coach I have ever seen in the NFL. I was stunned, shocked, whatever when I heard Marty was fired...then it got about 100x worse when I heard who they hired to replace him. Not to mention, LT was really trying hard to save Marty's job. I don't care how much you may disagree with the coach, if you're the GM, you keep a guy like LT happy IMO. btw- a lot of people here in Ctown are calling for Marty to come back...keep in mind, these are most likely the same people who wanted him run out of here back in the 80's. I'm sure there's a lot of Chargers fans that feel the same way now. Marty's a great coach.
Tominator
Marty's a great coach. Yep, best coach that can't win the big one.
VermontHunter
Yep, best coach that can't win the big one. Yeah, but Chris... Torre has proven he can win the BIG ONES..there's the difference.. From 1996 to 2007 all Joe Torre as done for the Yankee's is win 4 World Series Championships and 2 AL Pennants and in 1996 and 1998 win Manager of the year ... ;) Not too shabby IMHO... muggs
Chris, if the entire Yankees lineup went 0-144 in the World Series, and his pitchers gave up 10 runs a game and the Yanks got swept...would that be Torre's fault? Seems unfair to hold the coach accountable for a situation like that, doesn't it?

Ohiobucks
At about 1:32pm this afternoon, I was walking along the hallway here at work and fell flat on my face, like someone stuck a leg out to trip me intentionally. I don't know why, but something was telling me to go into the Idio*I mean* Sports Room and see what was going on. Little did I know, that invisible leg that made me fall belonged to my "friend" Eric..... :( Lame. Weak. Not cool.......

Vernon area...just watch out for the "invisible" stomach that's going to hit you and your family up for some free dinner. btw- seriously, a die hard Browns fan befriends a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers via an internet forum....can someone say SITCOM!!!!!:D I'm writing the pilot as we speak. I've got Matt Damon on board to play muggs, and John will be played by...Steve Bucemi.:D:eek:

I've read through this post three times already, and I can't find a one Costanza quote. Like John already pointed out, the only quote from Seinfeld was yours DB, the Soup Nazi one. Anyway, glossing over gem comedic material like my sitcom idea should never be accepted. You lose.
