Muff
I really hope the bandwagon thing was not aimed at me...I am a Giants fan and always will be...in fact I really do not like the Pats but I know a good team when I see one....the Pats are the real deal this year. mike
i geuss all i am tryin to say is you shouldn't be hammer on an undefeated team because they had one off night:confused: the bills still didn't score hardly an points against that dallas defense. their defense scored against dallas's offense remember:rolleyes:. and for a quarterback that is in his for full season as a starter in the nfl you should expect an off night. if it was rookie some where like brady or russell and they had they same record with the same off night would you be saying the same thing?? i know romo is no rookie but he is in his first full season as a starter. and i can only imagine if dallas does beat the pats this sunday it will be because the pats had an off not and dallas still won't get any credit:rolleyes:. and as for the bandwagon jumper comment, it really wasn't aimed at anyone directly, just meant for a lil ribbing in good fun. if i offended anyone i am sorry. but this thread did start out as merely a bashing thread didn't it?:D:D
VermontHunter
Mike,, your still beating on a dead drum my friend....;) You seem not to realize that the Bills didn't have quite a few of thier starters including thier starting QB ... So Dallas performed quite horribly against an very injured team ... So I would say that 5-0 record might be just slightly tainted ... Hey, if the Cowboys beat the Pats.. it's just that much better for me... Being a Bills fan and all ..:D;) I wasn't BASHING Dallas,, I was just stating that Romo and TO aren't that good .. ;) Now as a team, that's a different story.. And you've nothing to apologize for,,Dallas is your team and you've got every right to state your opinions as well..
BowtechTurkeyHunter
OH really ... Lets see here... Owens Rec. 21 Yds. 387 Avg. 18.4 TD. 3 Moss Rec. 34 Yrds. 551 Avg. 16.2 TD. 7 I wonder who has the more talent this season .. And just what bandwagon am I supposed to be riding on ?? This is really really easy to rebut ... Moss .... only player worth anything on that team... TO has a Tight End and 2 running backs to compete with for TD's Look at the total TD's for the year for NE and Dallas NE only has 2 more then Dallas ... I wouldnt say that is stellar and makes them so much a better team. You seem not to realize that the Bills didn't have quite a few of thier starters including thier starting QB Oh but wait ... everyone and I mean everyone is saying that your starting quarterback Monday night should be your starting QB and that your injured QB is probably out of a job as a starter so I am not quite sure you have a leg to stand on lol. Steve
craig mack
Did you say Moss is the only player worth anything on that team? If you did I guess you forgot about the QB and the rest of the offense. The only reason Moss is back to his old self is because he has a future hall of fame QB throwing to him and a very good supporting cast around him. I like Dallas, they just had an off night. It happens
muggs
Moss...the only player worth anything on that team?:eek: Did he really just say that? I guess those three Super Bowl rings...years before he got there were won by guys who aren't worth much then...yeah, that sounds good. Anyway, when it's all said and done, we just might be saying Brady was the best ever. That has to be worth "something" doesn't it?

Steve Why must you disect everything and only use ONE point to focus on ??? Here's what I actually said .. You seem not to realize that the Bills didn't have quite a few of thier starters including thier starting QB ... So Dallas performed quite horribly against an very injured team ... So I would say that 5-0 record might be just slightly tainted ... NOTICE I didn't just say the starting QB was out .. And who is this everyone you are referring to,,,?? .. And Lossman is the starting QB until otherwise said from the coaching staff.. You aren't trying to say that the Patriots don't have any TE's or RB's to compete against are ya ?? ... and as I remember TO dropped every ball thrown to him in this game against the Bills .. yeah that's a top notch reciever right there ... wait I'll take that back .. he snatched 2 balls for 25 yrds... with 0 TD's ... but yet he ran all over the field after the win by the kicker like he was all it and the team needed his useless effort that night .. Listen,, we all know Dallas is a great team and will be one of the teams to beat when it comes down to crunch time,, but they aren't that good because of 2 players... NE has WAY better receivers all the way around, a better tight end, and their 2 RB's when healthy aren't to far behind what Dallas has either. Not to mention they have.... h I dont know...maybe the best QB in the history of football. Don't know if that counts for anything or not. MCH
This is really really easy to rebut ... Moss .... only player worth anything on that team That has to be the funniest thing I've read in a while. While I think NE will handle Dallas pretty easy, I wouldn't be surprised if Dallas pulled the upset, either. But on paper, there is no doubt who the better team is: New England. Vrabel, Bruschi, Thomas, Colvin, Samuel and Wilfork are great players that any team out there would love to have. Especially Thomas. He'll be the best defensive player on the field that day, hands down.

BowtechTurkeyHunter
Its all your fault ... but I know how to poke the fire too lol ... it is pretty funny to watch ppl say ... NE is better but I think they will loose or might loose ... that cracks me up ... see to me its all about one thing ... SCOREBOARD. lol Steve

buckbuster11
Yes they can. In fact, DB Winslow couldn't hold Gates, Witten, or Watson's jock.
muggs
Gates is #1...hands down. But Winslow, as a pass catching threat is #2. True he can't block, so I'll hear the agruement he's not as valuable as a guy like Witten who can. But Winslow is a stud, and still emerging. He's able to out run any LB and he's too physical for safeties. Of any TE, he gives you the most mismatches.
VABuckSlayer
Ok all you Cowboy haters. There is no doubt that New England is a stud team but they haven't beaten anybody with a winning record either this year. I think this will be a great game. I slightly favor NE but feel very strong that the Cowboys can with this game. New Englands record: Sun 9/9 at NY Jets W 38-14 Sun 9/16 San Diego W 38-14 Sun 9/23 Buffalo W 38-7 Mon 10/1 at Cincinnati W 34-13 Sun 10/7 Cleveland W 34-17 The 5 teams New England has beat have won a combined 7 games. This will be the first time either team has faced a good team this year. The only team you can compare the two with is Buffalo and the Boys had a bad game and still won. Dallas has a good shot at this game and I can't wait to watch it! Eric

MCH
LMAO...I knew you name drop me in there somewhere. All things being even, I should be a Cowboys fan. I mean their stadium is closer to me than anyones. I guess its the fact that all my friends are die-hard fans. I've always been the type to go against the flow. As soon as the Braves and the Cowboys became "America's teams", they automatically went to the bottom of the barrel. Didn't help the Cowboys that they beat my Bills twice in the super bowl. They just went deeper.
