terry264 Posted October 11, 2007 Report Share Posted October 11, 2007 Superguide, near as I can quickly research, the rem. 788, mf'd. from '67 to '83, was made in .222, .22-250, .223, 6mm, .243, .308, 30-30, 7-08, or .44 mag., good luck on collecting them. 257bob Posted October 12, 2007 Report Share Posted October 12, 2007 I have a Model 788 Carbine in 7mm-08. I love that gun. It shoots excellent with almost everything I've put through it.
