Bowtech_archer07
I'll be in the timber tonight, gonna keep an eye out. I'll probably start rattling a little bit in a couple of weeks.
buckbuster11
Yeah, I've been seeing scrapes for about 2 weeks now. Nothing major, mostly perimeter scrapes. Found a decent rub line last night. And I just had a buddy tell me he watched 3 bucks going at it pretty good last evening. It's still early yet, but they are starting to get a little fired up. Turkeygirl
On college property found a nice scrape line. On the farm property at home I've seen few small rubs and scrapes. I think with those cold weather, we'll start seeing more. We also have alot of leaves left that will cover up scrapes.
MUDRUNNER
No rubs or scrapes, but have heard a few people seeing some young bucks tickling their antlers a bit.I might try grunting this weekend, but were still a week or two away from from the good stuff. Tominator
I've seen some perimeter scrapes, and a few rubs, nothing major yet though. I think a lot depends on if you are a photoperiodism proponent, or a weather proponent, or a combination of both. I'm a combination of both, and I don't think we have short enough days yet, but probably within the next week or so.
LifeNRA
It's still early yet, but they are starting to get a little fired up. Yeah they are! I seen two bucks nosing the does they were with today! Casing them all around me. Too bad they didn't get close enough, I wanted one of them to try my Muzzy out! LOL! I think some activity is starting.

Texan_Til_I_Die
Yep, saw a 10 point bird dogging a doe this morning. Here's the whole story that I posted in my team thread... Beautiful weather this morning. 56 and absolutely no wind. Saw the same 8 point from yesterday then a doe came by acting funny. About 10 minutes later a nice 10 point came by trailing her. I was on the ground in a cedar thicket and when I drew, the buck saw me and went on point. I held for about a minute until he finally turned to give me a quartering away shot. He was at 25 yards so I put my 20 yard pin just above center right behind his shoulder and tripped the release. THE ARROW HIT THE GROUND ABOUT HALF WAY TO THE DEER! Then I see this spindly little cedar limb about 5 feet in front of me swaying up and down. My sight pins had been above it, but the arrow hit it as soon as I released. Oh well... punkinslinger
Watched a nice 6pt have a doe pinned down for over 2 hours today across the road from my house. He layed about 15 yards behind her watching her every twitch!
Guest bowhuntr_15
I personally havent seen any scrapes yet, a couple of pretty good rubs though. And one of my buddies works at a processor and he said there were two buck checked in last week that their tarsal glands were real black and stunck real bad. But I have gotten a couple of more bucks on the camera so maybe there startin to move around alittle more with this cold weather!

bwlacy
I've seen young bucks grunting and bird dogging does the last two days. No older bucks yet. The does didn't want anything to do with it. Getting closer, been seeing rubs for a month, a few small scrapes. Now just wishing they get some more corn cut around me. Deb
Ohio's starting the pre-rut. Heard about 15 minutes of non stop sparing going on friday just before daylight. Fresh rubs are showing up, too.
