dogdoc
while goose hunting. Tragedy for the Avery Company It was just announced that Avery Pro-Staffer Josh Leger was tragically killed yesterday while hunting in Quebec. Details are sketchy, but someone thought their Snow Goose spread was real geese and crawled up close enouth to fire a .22 rifle into the spread that struck Josh above his eye killing him instantly. His hunting partner heard the whine of the bullet and a tiny impact and asked Josh if he had heard that. When he got no answer he got out of his ground blind and found that Josh had been hit and killed. I hear the shooter is in custody. This hits me hard as I had this happen twice to me in Arkansas years ago and luckily nobody was hurt. This is why I don't spread hunt Snows anymore there. What a senseless act by someone knowing he was breaking the law in the first place. My youngest son, Stephen, works for Avery and it hit the company hard to loose such a good friend to many there. Please keep the family and friends in your prayers. This was copied from another forum. I don't know the original author.

RTF
That really sucks and ticks me off. This happened not too long ago in the states and it was the land owner who shot the hunter.
