Guest americaneagle
Hello, I'm looking at buying a trail camera. Give me your two cents and help me save mine? How do you like the one you have?
RangerClay
I have two words of you! LEAF RIVER! PM KTMMike, he has the best deal in town!!!
Buckslayer
I have a homebrew camera it uses a pelican case, pixcontroller board, and sony 4.1mp camera. I LOVE it. Leaf Rivers are pretty good, and I hear that Moultrie is turning out some better cameras and have good cust. svc. Good luck with your purchase and welcome to Realtree. wtnhunt
Welcome to the forums. Homebrews are the way to go if you are able. Have 4 of them myself, got the parts for another one I have not built yet. If buying a commercial cam I would go with a leaf river, I still have one of the early model dc2bu leaf river cams and the only thing that has failed on the cam has been the flash(after about 10,000 pics, about 3 years in the field running non stop), cost me around $25 with the shipping to get it fixed and had it back in a little over a week. Guest bowhuntr_15
I have been using moultries for 3 years now and really like them alot. Havent messed up at all and battery life is pretty darn good. And the newer ones are supposed to be better. And also for the price I dont think you can beat them. Goin to buy me another one or two for next year!
