Nick Posted October 15, 2007 Report Share Posted October 15, 2007 Well my Saturday turned out to be a good one. At about 4PM I saw my sister and her boyfriend off to the homecoming dance. Her boyfriend for some unknown reason likes me and told me to come over to his house for pictures....So I did. Then after taking a ribbing from the two of them and my mom for being 2 weeks into the season and not having a deer down yet.....I went to the woods and did just that. I put the first deer of the season down. A big old spike horn. The first shot went low through the front leg and into the heart. The deer went 10 yards and stopped to see what happened and I put an insurance shot through both lungs. I'd say I had a pretty good day.
