Tsmola
Re: Art Gallery This is a combination of digital art and a pencil drawing. I drew this first then scanned and colored it in photoshop, it won second in the patriotic art contest I made it for. It is of course, a tribute for 9/
buckee
Re: Art Gallery I was talking to Peaches in chat last night and she likes to do art work too. She's a bit shy about showing her work in public, so I'll show it for her....LOL For those of you who know Peaches in chat, here's a sample of what she likes to do. Swamphunter
Re: Art Gallery This is a hope chest that I built for my wife. It is still waiting for woodburnings of my 2 kids faces on the front of it and then the finish. This is a Harley Davidson Rocker that I made for my 2 kids for last Christmas. Except for the walnut frame of the motorcycle and the dowels, the entire motorcycle was built from trees that I cut off my land. I milled up the wood myself. buckee
Re: Art Gallery This was my very first decorative decoy carving. I actually went outside and picked up a block of wood from the wood-pile to carve this Mallard Drake. My sister-in-law owns it now and calls it Mona-Mallard. It now has a crack that runs down it's back because it was not a quality piece of wood. Pair of Goldfinches American Pintail Drake Here's my little corner, which is now in the back room...LOL. A few of my taxidermy projects as well as a few carvings. The wood-duck I did for my Wife.

buckee
Re: Art Gallery Thank you, That colourful bird I mounted is a Rosella, from Australia. I know a guy who has an aviary, who raises birds for pet stores. Every once in a while he has one bite the biscuit, so I asked him to save me one to mount. They are beautiful birds eh. Australian Rosella The screech owl in the corner was found dead under a power box down town by my friend one early morning. I had to run up to Campbell River to get a permit to mount it. I was going to mount some starlings or grackles taking off from the branches in front of the owl, but never got around to it.
Swamphunter
Re: Art Gallery Buckee WOW!! I can't tell the difference between the mounts and the carvings!!
