JDAWG
What a lucky son of a gun I am....I shot a doe today....When I took the shot, I didn't notice the branch in front of her....needless to say I hit her way back but the broadhead came out near her rear end and cut her femoral artery....Easy recovery....I'm just glad that with everything that went wrong, I was able to recover her and not lose her....still very embarrassed about the shot... Dogg6
Congrats on your doe. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. I had that happen a few years back. I drew on a nice 6 point and didn't see a small branch. When the arrow hit the branch it took a hard left turn and hit him right in the neck, dropped in his tracks. All I could think is if it wnet the other way I would have gut shot him and been tracking him all night.
Master_Chief
Congrats. Just mix in one branch with the venison and call it even.
