tedicast
Re: painfull thing !!! defiantely a brave man. If the string or bow slipped you could have seriously hurt the bow, or worse, hurt yourself. The proper way to do a cam change is in a bowpress. tedicast
Re: painfull thing !!! [ QUOTE ] i was ready to shoot !!! after I got done I went straight outside and started shooting. I just got the bow for christmas and Ive never had one before and I feel I could already kill a deer from 25 yards off. [/ QUOTE ] It all seems easy, untill you are 20 feet up in a tree, with a live deer within range. It turns into a whole different game then...trust me! It's great to be confident, but don't be cocky. This sport will humble you really, really quick!

[/ QUOTE ] Isn't that the truth as I found out this year ( being my first season with a bow ) trust me practice in the manner your going to hunt...and this is only part of it, the rest is actual hunting experince with a bow... Washi
Re: painfull thing !!! I had no trouble hitting a deer target at 50 yards before the season started. The first deer I had in shooting range was a nice buck (much bigger than the target deer) at 20 yards broadside and I completely missed him. I was shooting out of a ground blind so I can't blame it on being in a tree. Oh and this is my third season and I practice a lot.
