wtnhunt
Would think so, how would depend on your cam and computer and the connections they offer. If your computer has av inputs or a s-video input, that would be one way. Use a firewire card and a firewire cable from my cam to the computer here. Texan_Til_I_Die
You'll need some type of video capture software to convert the analog signal from the tape to digital. Or, if you have a DVD burner at home, you can probably connect the camera to it and burn directly a DVD. From there, you'll need some type of video editing software to extract clips from the disk and save to your computer. If it's a one time thing, you'd be better off taking it to a professional camera shop and letting them do it for you.

wtnhunt
Firewire cable is for a firewire port, and it is just one type of source of capture. Your camera and computer both would have to have the appropriate type ports. Some cams support usb 2.0 and the quality of the transfer with usb through 2.0 would be ok, betting your cam probably does not though. I had to get a firewire card for my computer, with the video capture software from pinnacle think I paid somewhere around $80 or $90. Composite a/v ports will also work if your computer has inputs and you have the right cable, those would be the audio video rca type ports, most computers that have a tv tuner card have those types of inputs. As mentioned above another option would be to burn a dvd off of the tapes with a dvd recorder if you have one, then you could load it on your computer.
