dogdoc
i recommend going to a pro-shop and paying the 50 cents an arrow to get them cut correctly. you can buy cutters for about 100 bucks. todd
Washi
Re: cutting arrows ??? A Dremel with one of those diamond coated metal cut-off wheels seems to work well.
tedicast
Re: cutting arrows ??? I agree about going to a pro shop. A local shop was cutting mine for $5 a dozen, before my brother bought an arrow saw. If you try to do it any other way, it will be next to impossible to keep the cut square to the arrow shaft. Well worth $5 or $6 imho.
VermontHunter
Re: cutting arrows ??? Like the others have said I wouldn't try to cut carbons without the proper cutting saw....well worth the money to have it done right..

Swamphunter
Re: cutting arrows ??? [ QUOTE ] Chop Saw [/ QUOTE ] OMG Strut!! No way, my Stihl 026 chainsaw works best...I just have my wife hold em' real careful like and then I buzz right through em'!! This is only a joke... do not attempt to cut arrows with a chainsaw. It can result in serious personal injury and/or death. Consult a physician before attempting to do this yourself. Swampy's disclaimer... you know there are a lot of idiots out there!!! And they take on clients that do stupid things and want to sue!!
ScottyLuck
Re: cutting arrows ??? You need something that will hold the arrow and the saw so that the cut will be square. I use an Apple arrow saw and also cut and square both ends of the arrow with an arrow squaring device from G5. Squaring the ends of the arrow is critical or you'll never get a broadhead to tune.
