beagleboy Posted October 18, 2007 Report Share Posted October 18, 2007 IT's been about 4 weeks since surgery and I went and sighted in my 300 win mag and Rem 11-87 slug gun and I am so impressed with my groupings out to 100 yrds with both guns. I went to Dick's sporting goods and picked up the last package they had of the Rage 2 broadheads. I just got permission to hunt Westchester County (bow only area which produce monster bucks every year in Southern NY) and I can't wait till Oct 29. It will be the first day that I will go bowhunting since recovery is going so well. I could go now but I don't want to rush things with my back and physical therapy. By then, things should start heating up in the deer woods and the back will be that much stronger. (Dr. advised me not to drag my deer at all. Guess I'll get help from my buddy when the opportunity arises) I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
