The Power Of Many

I'm really humbled folks. I've never been on the receiving end of such a true blessing.:o It is definitely more blessed and way more fun to give, than to receive.

The burden of finances has been on my wife solely all summer, and it has been difficult, with me working so sporadically. If I had of known I was going to get cancer, and wouldn't be able to pick up enough small jobs that I could handle this summer, I wouldn't have done a lot of things the last few years, like putting a new roof on the place, etc.

You folks amaze me, and I love you .

Steve

I risked sending cash once John, but this time around, I think I'll be sending a check. Check is fine, it just takes a long time to clear.

I honestly don't know how a money order is handled up there. Maybe someone from the Great White North can clue us in. If it's not a hassle, I'll send a US Postal Money Order.

I am pretty sure that money orders are no problem at all, I know that the wife gets them from the USA sometimes when selling on ebay and has no problems cashing them ( or spending them either :p:D )

I thank the Lord for all of you. You have been an instrument of the Lord in answering my prayers for financial help, whether some of you want to believe that or not. ;)

I just checked the mail and to my surprise, my Dad sent me a couple thousand dollars to help us out also. God is good.

With that, and what ever you folks sent, it should tide us over in the bill department, for a few months, until I can get back to the grindstone, and earn a living.

So please, please, if you haven't sent anything yet, hang on to it, for someone else in need...OK;)

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. You folks are awesome, and so is the Lord.:D

Steve, I was all ready to make out a check to you until I read this post. I will abide by your wishes and hold onto it, for now. It will go to the next person I come across that needs it. You've always been a friendly face to me here, even remembering my real name after my long absence last year. If anybody on these forums deserves the support of the members, it's you. Just rest assured that your humbleness and desire to take only what you need will in turn help support another. Take care, buddy, and get well. There's deer in them thar woods!

I don't think we should stop! Who knows where the next fork in the road is going to take you!

It is always nice to have a little cushion for the unexpected!

I think we ought to keep sending whatever we can!

Sorry Buckee, but you know I can be a "bit" stubborn at times! LOL!!:D:D

Yes, and the road did take another turn, and yes, Steve still needs the support if you can chip in, that would be great.

Remember, just a little, and if everyone does this, it adds up. There's a ton of regular members here, $5 or $10 here and therre adds up quick.

Let's put the power of the many to work here folks.

Come on, don't be a square. :D

:o No, not any more. I used to, but I was getting too many PayPal scam emails.

Cashing checks or American/Canadian money orders have never been a problem here.

I know I've had problems in the past sending American money orders from Canada down there, but it's not bad here at all. I deal with the Credit Union, and they are pretty good.
