RangerClay
I had my good hunting clothes hanging in the cellar to dry. My wife decided to paint Drylock on the walls and they have been sucking up paint fumes all afternoon. I really don't have time to wash them before I leave tomorrow for camp. If I hang them outside tomorrow will they air out in time?? Help please!!!
Guest bow_hunter101
I hate to say it, but I think I'd have to re-wash them if it was me. I don't know... maybe deer like paint fumes!
rhine16
I'd hang them out and spray and spray and spray some more with cover scent. Maybe that will work.

NS whitetail
I would say that it is a good excuse to buy new hunting clothes :D
mmbernskoetter
I think bowhunter 101 is right, I would rewash them if it were me.
toddyboman
I would probably just wash them then dry them. Then put them in a storage bag with some cover scent. However I really like this idea too.:p:D:D I would say that it is a good excuse to buy new hunting clothes :D
earnhardts12000
rewash them just to be on safe side
johnf
Just put them on. The deer will think it's a freshly painted blind and they know that hunters don't hunt in freshly painted blinds. Or you could wash them.
scrubhunter
Paint fumes are some of the strongest odors and they stick to your clothes fibers pretty bad. I'd at the least wash them and spray them with cover scent and then throw them in a ziploc bag with a scent wafer. I can't imagine a more unnatural smell in the woods than paint! I'd also agree that it's a good excuse to buy new gear!
LifeNRA
Same here. Ditto, regardless, I would be re-washing them ASAP!!!
