brownie65
my question to some of you tv experts is this. Is a flat screen really any better than just a regular tv. I am debating buying a 32" regular tv or a 27" flat screen. They are basically the same price. I have stood back & looked at both of them & to me I see no big difference in picture quality. Somebody tell me if the flat screen is really any better. I have a 27" tv now ,it is old though, but I am going to get a new one. Like the 32" size but if I can be convinced that the 27" flat screen is really better I might go that way. Let me know your opinions. VermontHunter
Re: televisions In my opinion Flat Screens are a big hype..if you are going to invest in a TV look to the future of the programming that is going to be available and by a good set that is HDTV ready. but back to your question the only advantage of a flat screen is that you can view it from most any extreme angle and that's it...LCD and PLASMA Flat Screen tv's life expectancy is about half that of a tube or rear projection set...Keep this in mind when viewing a floor model at the store they have these things calibrated by a pro for the best possible picture, to make the sale easier...good luck in your endless endevor of electronics... buffett1
Re: televisions [ QUOTE ] Bigger is better right????? LOL [/ QUOTE ] That's what I always thought. I have a flat screen and like it alot. It all depends on what you will watch on it and what angles. If just sitting in front of it, go with the bigger tv.
