Guest Finn
I hunted 5 times this year, been skunked 3 of the 5 times TV shows don't air 95% of the time they spend in the woods....no one would watch all the time they spend in a tree with no deer in front of them. Guest bigalt78
hey man you should check into the rules and regulations in your state and see if you can bait deer. In Ohio you're allowed to and i throw out a hundred pounds of corn whenever my deer need it. if you are allowed in your state that should work becuase i know i see a whole heck of a lot of deer in my corn pile. lowcountry boy
We all have slow days, they just make you appreciate the times when you do see a lot of deer more. The other advice a can give is to study your hunting land - scouting, aerials and find the travel corridors and don't forget to hunt the wind. But for me, it's been a successful hunt as soon as I'm in the field, just being out there soaking it in is reason enough to keep coming back.
