dodge4x4
Y'know y'all, I've been out bow hunting a couple times this year already and am going again on Nov. 2 weekend, but for whatever reason, I am so anxious and have got the jitters ready for shotgun season. I've never really been this bad before, and I've been going all my life. Normally I'm excited, but this year is horrible. . .I think about it every night before I go to sleep, my stomachs got butterflies. Aha. I just cannot WAIT to get back in that timber with a shotgun. I think I've got WHITETAIL fever!!! So how y'all done so far this year?
lowcountry boy
I feel ya man. I'm ate up with it. I've already seen more deer this year than the last 3 combined, and was blessed enough to take a pretty good 10-point a few weeks ago. I've got two great kids and an understanding wife, I'm a lucky man.

wtnhunt
Hope you can get control over those jitters before getting an opportunity for a shot. Been a terribly slow year so far here. Youth hunt with my 11 year old this weekend, hopefully the deer will cooperate.

Guest chappy
It has been a great season so far. I would say the day you quit getting the "jitters" is the day to hang up the boots...
rhine16
I would say the day you quit getting the "jitters" is the day to hang up the boots... Completely agree with that. That's the reason you hunt. For that feeling. I've killed a doe this year with my bow. Now waiting for a buck. Good luck!
