Guest mathersj
Okay here is the deal. I have some good woods to hunt out of but the only problem is about 5 years ago my papaw had the woods harvested, so now there is so much cover in the woods and brush and everything that it makes it hard to get to the deer. In the dead center of the 12 acre woods that i usually hunt from, is a acre of cedar trees, and that is where most of the deer are but the problem is that I don't know how to get to them without being to close and spooking them on the way in to my treestand. Any advice?

Any advice? I would get some lopping shears or a chain saw and start cutting trails. If you have accest to a tractor and bush-hog I would just cut them with that. I would bet within a week the deer will be using the trails on a regular basis. They aren't stupid, they will go in and out the easiest way they can. Wish you had posted this around April. You'd probibly have a pretty good honey hole there.
