Randy
I've got this problem with eating venison. Lately I have been eating venison tacos, burgers, and meatballs. A few hours later, well... I get really bad flatulence!! Just wondering if it's just me, or does everybody get it??
RangerClay
I would look closely at the spices you are adding. If that doesn't work you can always try this.
stevebeilgard
i'll bet it's the onions, brussel sprouts, etc. that you eat along with the meat. on the bright side, methane is at an all time high. can you find a way to harness your bonus... buckee
Yes, I know what you mean. I made a big batch of venison chili last week so I wouldn't have to cook for a few days Of course the prunes for beakfast may have contributed some. wtnhunt
LMBO @ some of the replies here. Seriously though Randy, really dont see much difference between venison and beef in regards to how gassy it makes us. Yes, I know what you mean. I made a big batch of venison chili last week so I wouldn't have to cook for a few days Of course the prunes for beakfast may have contributed some. Chili with beans with any type of meat is bound to make anyone gassy.

nativetexan
I don't care how old you are, how young you are, how mature you are, how immature you are, or what setting you are in, flatulence will always be funny. My 3 year old has mastered the art of "crop dusting" and when he runs away giggling you better run for fresh air. I made a big pot of chili once when my wife was about 8 months pregnant. She ate a big bowl of it knowing she was going to pay. But ultimately it was me that suffered. That night I laid in bed for about an hour and a half trying to go to sleep, when I heard it. I said "dang baby!" She thought I was asleep and starting busting out laughing. It was so bad I had to get out of there. Ain't love grand? OJR
Bets! Oh come on Texan, everyone knows women don't fart :D:D You wouldn't want to take bets on that would you??:D:D I saw something on TV the other day about gas and this doctor said it was a good thing because you were digesting your food!
nativetexan
According to my flatulometer, the measured amount of flatulence from my 3 year old converted to fuel would power my car for exactly 15 trips back and forth to work. The boy will eat anything.

DowninWhiteys
Ya know, I thought it was just me too. I almost always get gas whenever I eat something with venison in it. Another reason to love deer meat!:D
TreeStandBowHunter
Yep Me too. Whenever we do have deer meat, I can't eat a bunch of it at one serving. Jerkey really goes through me:D
