davetucker
what are peoples opinion on hunting ranches and preserves.I got a chance to go hunt a red deer ranch for a good price>its only a doe but just want the meat hear it is exceptional. Was offered to bring someone along for the hunt. The person i asked was my neighbor and hes always trying to compete with the neighborhood earlly jealous disabled live for free kind of guy.I thought i was doing him a favor by asking him to come along for the experience.About an hour after i talked to him about it he went around the neighborhood telling people i was going to shoot a tamed animal in a cage which isnt the idea at all its a hunting preserve or outfitter whatever you want to call it.What are the real hunting worlds thought of these places??????????? wtnhunt
Guess in my opinion it depends on if it is high fenced and on how large an area it is. Really all that matters anyways is how you feel about it.
Texan_Til_I_Die
Sounds like your neighbor has some "issues". As to hunting behind high fences, you'll find that we've pretty well hashed through that discussion several times. Do a search on these forums and you'll find several threads relating to that subject.
