AJ
Re: new toy [ QUOTE ] ...i found out that if i leave that stock on it it is ilegal if i dont take the bayonet night sights and grenade launcher off of it ... [/ QUOTE ] It all depends on your state's law. The sun has set on the Brady Bill and there is no pre ban or post bad crapola now. Guns can again have the bayonet lug, flash supressor, pistol grip, etc, unless your state or local laws dictate they are illegal.
robk
Re: new toy aj speaks the truth where i live the ban is totally lifted on prebans here. i was looking at a colt today that was preban and it was sharp. i think we are both going to save up and buy one in 223 or 308 for critter shooting. ddo some prairie dog and coyot hunting. they come with the rings so all you need is a good scope and time to set it up and play with it rob k by the way congrats on the new toy

AJ
Re: new toy [ QUOTE ] illinois [/ QUOTE ] OOh, thats too bad. Illinois is one of "those" states. There are different laws depending on what county and/or city you are in.
AJ
Re: new toy [ QUOTE ] what you mean THOSE states huh [/ QUOTE ] Its one of the states where a small section of the state that is filled with liberals make policy for the majority of the state. Other states like that are California, Maryland, New York, and New Jersey. Before Gov. Rod Blagojevich can sign something off he has to get the ok of Richard Daley. One of the reasons I dropped trap shooting is the ATA is moving to Illinois. I will not support them any longer.
