Guest okla_bowhunter
I really need some help with the dang rats. I set my double bull out for the deer to get used to it, and the rats ate huge holes in it. Is there any type reppelent that will keep the rats away, but not spook the deer. And also, does anyone how i can get some of the predator camo fabric to patch the holes? --Colton
scrubhunter
Are you sure it's not squirrels?
Guest okla_bowhunter
It could be. We just figured that it was rats, because they also used to chew on my trail cameras.
Guest smacky
i've had the same problem. the pack rats chewed up my ground blind and chew off the cords of my cameras. i called my county extension office and they told me to try putting out a small dish and pour straight coca cola soda pop in it. rats cannot burp and their insides will explode after a couple hours of drinking it. they also mentioned useing rat poison but be very careful to not have any other wildlife get a hold of it. good luck and hope you kill them all (the rats!!)
