Guest yoders_hideaway
went to freshen my mock scrapes at 1:00 in the afternoon in a light drizzle, scent free and the whole works, well my very last scrape i finished, i looked up and 70 yards away was a 9 pointer i've been after this year standing broadside with a doe staring at me! the doe took off and he went along with her (tail up) now what? bummed out big time! stevebeilgard
deer will spook, but within minutes don't know why. just rest the area for a while, and they'll be back.
Guest DIRTY DUKE
Don't worry about it. I did the same thing coming out after a morning hunt and killed him going in that afternoon in the same spot I jumped him in.
TKLambert
You should be fine. The only time you really need to worry is when he finds you in your treestand. You probably arent the first human that he has seen walking through the woods.
