Guest mq32
I just picked up an Encore Pro Hunter .50 Cal muzzle Loader. It is the camo version with the thumbhole stock. I mounted a Leupold VX-III 4.5-14 on it. Now I'm starting to work up loads for an up coming Idaho Elk Hunt. I have Started with Barnes 290 Gr MTZ Bullets and TC 300 Gr Bonded Shockwave Bullets. What yardage should I sight in for I was thinking zeroed at 200 yards or should I zero at 150 yards. I plan on using 777 pellets or loose powder ffg. Any suggestions would help. What are you guys using for ELk? Personal loads, Other type bullets, anything else to help out. I'm new to this Muzzleloader game. Thanks MQ32
