Slugger Posted October 29, 2007 Report Share Posted October 29, 2007 sat. morn I was hunting around some big whiteoaks I had been calling with the can and my trutalker when a lil 4 came hauling butt down an old log road i was set up on. he milled around and smelled where i had sprayed some deer dander all the sudden he snapped his head toward a thicket and took off in that direction. I heard a bunch off noise and a few minutes later a small spike ran out of the thicket and stopped under my tree. Then he (The spike) snort wheezed which is something i thought only mature bucks done. guess the 4 kicked his butt and he was mad about it. long story i know but its the first time ive ever heard a snort wheeze. Guest LIVEWIRE Posted October 30, 2007 Report Share Posted October 30, 2007 6 deer 4 does 2 little bucks ...6pt and a basket 8. the 8 stayed with the does and started wondering off the 6 headed another direction well he kept grunting at the 8 to come back or someting but the 8 stayed with the does after they were 50 yrds. away that 6 did a buck roar that i know you could of heard for a 1/4 mi away i have never heard anything out in the woods make as loud as he did that morning.
