mule659 Posted October 29, 2007 Report Share Posted October 29, 2007 Well I posted a thread about a deer that I had hit good but went on forever and we couldn't find her until the next afternoon. Well last night my buddy and I decided to go see if we could pull a double. He had never killed a whitetail with his bow before but is an outstanding archer and has taken a few other animals. Well he was up first and to make a long story short he had several deer in range but onne of them would give a clear shot then a deer walk out on him and at 51 yards put it right through her lungs. After a minute of high fives I said it was my turn. Not ten minutes later a doe came walking 17 yards from me right on the other side of an old cattle gate. I drew back and threaded the needle and put a montec right through the gate and through both of her lungs. We had two deer down in about 10 minutes...hard to beat We saw a lot of deer that night including three really nice bucks. I am going to give this spot a couple days and be back after them I was not able to get pics because we both thought the other had the camera lol. Good times and good meat though.
