PotashRLS
We have had great success with that 295gr. powerbelt and 100 and 150 grain charges of American Pioneer Powder. We've used these loads on Black Bear and Whitetails. With all due respect, 200 yards with open sights from a muzzleloader seems odd. That is a long poke from a scoped muzzleloader not to mention open sights. Just my thoughts. Hope it works out for you!!

lil hunter
Go get a couple different sized bullets, then try each of them out with different amounts of powder. There is no set load that will work good in any gun. Find the one that works for your gun. Also, shooting accurately at 200 yards with open sights is no easy task. Make sure you spend plenty of time at the range.
