OJR
Great Happening! I hope they both get together on the first lap next weekend @ PIR That would be great if they would both wreck on lap #1! VH, I know that JG is part owner of #48, but that would NOT get him your cherished #5 championship! You are the one who needs some mental help! LOL!!!:D:D:p

hutchies
It really was a good race though. I was there on Row 10.........turn 4.............with my headset on. Jr and Truex had really bad cars. Truex was ticked all day and him and his crew cheif had a few choice words. Didn't hear much out of Gordon all day. Labonte's car was tight coming into the corners and he said then it would try to break loose coming out. Said it felt like he was on 4 flats. AdvantageTimberLou
Yeah Hutchies when they get on the radio they are FAR from being southern gentlemen. Amazing what comes out of their mouths. Headsets are the only way to go when you go to a race, great to hear what they are saying. When Dale Sr. was driving, he barely said anything on his, others would not shut up and drive!
hutchies
Yeah, We have had the radios for years...........Johnson never shuts up.........ever. Yeah, I'm sure if I was in their shoes and it meant as much to my pocket as it does theirs I probably wouldn't be too nice on the radio either. Jr really doesn't talk much unless they are under caution.
Guest HoppeMan
Give Gordon number 5 He deserves it If my man Smoke can't win it all, at least Jeff can. Take care, Nathan
BowtechTurkeyHunter
Serious Luke send Jeff a memo after he loose his championship and tell him its ok you still win even if you name isn't after the number 1 and you didn't get the trophy and you didnt get the biggest check tell him its ok cause he races for a team and the Team wins lol ... its kinda getting old you saying he wins if JJ wins seriously he really really doesn't win if JJ wins ... I mean when he has the Trophy he wins period ... thats how it goes in Real life ... not just that ficticious life you live in Vermont when you want Jeff to win you tag him onto his teamate coat tales lol....Its really not Gordon Hendrick Racing ... its Hendrick Racing and he is the only TRUE winner when JJ or Jeff wins its not both ... AdvantageTimberLou
If NASCAR was still running the old points system, this would be Jeff's 6th championship. This year he would have a 400 point lead and with 2 races no one could touch him and when Kurt Busch won it under this Chase format, Jeff Gordon would have won it that year too. So if NASCAR would have left things alone, Jeff would have 6 of them and be working on #7 in 2008. Just something to think about!

Sheesh, likle you even watch the sport.. I don't know what your burr is lately but, I'm not playing the game so go find someone else to diss.. Plain and simple ,,, all I said was he wins as a owner of the 48 .. this is fact,, not speculation... Not even you in your know it all world can argue Jeffs driving talent, and winning record ,,

Sheesh Steve Actually Steve if you weren't so busy trying to show me up, you would have done some checking before you made this statement .. :rolleyes:p( JJ ,, is just a driver and has NO interest in the 48 team or any other team in the Hendrick Organization... ( at least no where I have read about any ways) And here's the facts my friend ... FACT#1. He, along with Rick Hendrick, are the co-owners of the #48 Lowe's sponsored team, driven by Jimmie Johnson. FACT #2. Gordon also has an equity stake in his own #24 team. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeff_Gordon Hhmm ... seems Jeff has 50 % of the of the 2 most dominate teams within' the Hendrick organization ,, I wonder what else Jeff has stake in within' the Hendrick stables.. And NO where do I read Jimmie Johnson listed has owner/part owner anywhere... I take nothing personal here on these forums,, but it seems you just want to try and make it seem that way... So you may want to take a look at your own facts .. As I said in the beginning of this useless post,,, JJ wins a race,, so doesn't Jeff as a owner ... and I don't think Jeff needs to ride anyones coat tails, his record numbers speak for themselves and that's fact..
